The Get Bronzed Family.

I’ve been involved in the competition industry since 2007 when my husband started competing in Fitness Modelling competitions.

At the time it was a totally new little World to us and he competed in shows all over the World with my support at every one – and manually painting his tan on at each one in hotel rooms wherever we were.

I became more involved in the industry and started working backstage at some events and realised a gap in the market for a fresh new tanning company. At the time I had a career working with young offenders and troubled young people – but when pregnant with our first son I knew it wasn’t something I could continue long term with my own children.

So, when eight months pregnant I started completing my tanning qualifications and set up Get Bronzed – I reached out to some existing and new federations and secured contracts as official tanning company at many events.

I went to my first competition as a tanner when my son was only eight weeks old – on my own and with lots to learn. I threw myself in the deep end but learnt along the way and completed many courses and worked with many tans.

Year on year we’ve grown and developed and I’m proud to say Get Bronzed is now one of the UK’s best-known competition tanning companies with events throughout the year all over the UK.
